Make a difference with 2019 Community Service Grants
The Mars Wrigley Foundation and the Australian Dental Health Foundation are offering up to $82,000 USD for as many as 13 volunteer organisations to provide oral care and services to Australian communities in need.
Past recipients include Health in Kind, a free mobile dental project working to deliver much-needed dental treatment to disadvantaged mothers and children across regional Australia, and the Cherbourg Volunteer Dental Clinic which works in the most-disadvantaged community in Australia providing emergency and preventive dental treatment and education to Indigenous people.
Now in its ninth year, the grants give dentists, dental students and teams of dental professionals the chance to implement oral health community service, education, and preventative care in some of the highest risk and most disadvantaged communities across Australia.
The grants available are as follows:
- 12 x US$6,000 for registered licensed dental professionals or currently enrolled dentistry students
- 1 x US$10,000 for ‘Principles in Action’ Community Service Grant to help activate larger scale projects
